Medical City Heart and Spine is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech for a full-time role in Texas. The position involves performing Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, while ensuring radiation safety and quality patient care.

The role requires CAHEA-accredited Nuclear Medicine education, Texas MTR, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification, and ACLS/BLS readiness within 6 months. Competitive benefits and a supportive team are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• MTR Texas license required.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures.
• Performs tasks with high level of independent judgment for radiographic diagnosis.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
