Job summary
Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, performing nuclear medicine and PET procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician.
As part of our team, you will apply radiopharmaceuticals, operate specialized cameras, and ensure safety and quality in patient care. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within a supported environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
- MTR State of Texas licensure required
- ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
- NMTCB PET certification preferred
- Current BLS provider
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer
Responsibilities
- Under guidance of Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs general radiographic procedures
- Uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment for imaging
- Administers radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
- Demonstrates radiation safety and patient care
- Other duties as assigned
