Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team in a full-time days role, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The Nuclear Medicine Technician will work under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician to perform a range of radiographic procedures and radiopharmaceutical administrations using diverse Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.

Qualifications include Texas MTR license, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification, NMTCB PET certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred
• MTR State of Texas license required
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs general radiographic procedures
• Applies isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with a high degree of independent judgment
• Performs tests on in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates radiation safety and follows established protocols
