Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Solutions Specialist for the Northeast region. You will be the regional expert for Roche automation systems, guiding workflow, integration, and optimization for laboratory operations.

You will own post-go-live support, conduct workflow assessments, and drive standardization across accounts. This role requires substantial travel and close collaboration with sales, ISAs, and other teams to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3 years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory IT products.
• Preferred: experience supporting Roche automation solutions or cobas 8100 and RDA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional workflow, application, and automation expert for Roche automation systems.
• Provide consultative guidance on workflow, specimen flow, efficiency, middleware integration, and application utilization.
• Perform workflow assessments, recommend operational improvements, and lead optimization activities.
• Support standardization of workflow best practices across assigned accounts.
• Own post-go-live workflow and provide ongoing consultation and support for cobas 8100 and RDA systems.
• Coordinate follow-up visits, workflow reviews, and health assessments.
• Partner with ISAs, FAS, FES, and other teams to coordinate regional automation support.
• Maintain knowledge of automation software and distinguish issues for routing.
• Assist implementation teams during planning, validation, and transition to long-term ownership.
• Resolve post-go-live workflow and application issues and escalate risks as needed.
• Coach FAS personnel and contribute to regional automation competency.
