Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Solutions Specialist for the Northeast region. The role focuses on becoming the primary automation and workflow expert for Roche systems, guiding laboratories through optimization, integration, and post-implementation support.

Ideal candidates will have a strong laboratory IT background, 3+ years of implementing complex IT diagnostics, and willingness to travel extensively within the Northeast region. A company car is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory IT products.
• Strong communication and customer consultation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional workflow, application, and automation expert for Roche automation systems.
• Provide consultative guidance on workflow, specimen flow, operational efficiency, and middleware integration.
• Perform workflow assessments and lead optimization activities post-implementation.
• Coordinate follow-up visits and regional automation support activities.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of automation software functionality and assist with planning and training.
• Travel 50-75% within the Northeast region (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA).
