Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Solutions Specialist for the Northeast region. You will act as the regional automation expert, guiding workflow optimization and software utilization across Roche automation solutions. You’ll partner with ISAs, FAS, FES, and other stakeholders to ensure successful post-go-live operations and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in laboratory IT products. A company car is provided; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
3 years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory IT products.
Experience supporting Roche automation solutions or cobas 8100 is preferred.
Strong communication and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary regional workflow, application, and automation expert for Roche automation systems.
Provide consultative guidance on workflow, specimen flow, operational efficiency, and middleware integration.
Lead workflow optimization activities following implementation and Hypercare.
Support standardization of workflow best practices across accounts.
Coordinate post-go-live workflow ownership and ongoing support for cobas 8100 and non-complex RDA systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate regional automation support.
Maintain advanced knowledge of automation software functionality and troubleshoot accordingly.
Assist implementation teams during planning, validation, and transition to long-term ownership.
Travel: 50-75% within the Northeast region.
