Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a NOC Technician for our Network Operations Center in the United States. The role involves answering customer calls, documenting incidents, and resolving network issues across SS7, SIP, Diameter, and IP networks.

You will work 7x24x365 shifts, troubleshoot complex problems, and coordinate with customers, carriers and vendors to minimize service impact. TNS offers medical, dental coverage and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Network Operations Center or similar Operational Support environment.
• Strong knowledge of LTE technologies including Diameter, S8, S6a.
• Experience with IP networking and WAN protocols.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network surveillance systems, alarms, and phone queue; take direct support calls.
• Manage and resolve incident tickets.
• Provide direct support to customers to mitgate service impact.
• Troubleshoot SS7, SIP, Diameter, IPX and IP networks.
• Troubleshoot BGP peering and IP connectivity alarms.
• Interface with customers, carriers, and vendors; perform routine maintenance on network elements.
• Work rotating 7x24x365 shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
