Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a NOC Technician to monitor network assets, answer customer calls, document incidents, and drive rapid fault isolation. The role requires strong IP networking knowledge, experience in a Network Operations Center, and the ability to work a rotating 7x24 schedule.

Responsibilities include incident management, complex troubleshooting of IP networks, and coordination with carriers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Network Operations Center or similar Operational Support environment.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network surveillance systems and respond to alarms and emails.
• Manage and resolve incident tickets with speed and accuracy.
• Provide direct support to customers and vendors to minimize service impact.
• Troubleshoot SS7, SIP, Diameter platforms and IP networks.
• Perform BGP peering and IP connectivity troubleshooting.
