Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a NOC Technician for our Network Operations Center. You will answer customer calls, document, isolate, and resolve incidents across SS7, SIP, Diameter, IPX, and IP networks.

The role requires shift work to support 7x24x365 operations, strong English communication, and teamwork. Experience with network monitoring, telecom hardware, and IT ticketing tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Network Operations Center or similar OSS/IT environment.
• Know-how of LTE technologies including Diameter, S8, S6a.
• Familiar with SIP messaging and platform interworking.
• Solid IP networking troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Remedy or Salesforce ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network surveillance systems, alarms, and email; manage a phone queue for direct support calls.
• Manage and resolve assigned incident tickets.
• Provide direct support to internal and external customers to mitigate service impact.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis across SS7, SIP, Diameter, IPX, and IP networks.
• Troubleshoot BGP peering and IP connectivity alarms.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and carriers; perform maintenance on network elements.
• Support 7x24x365 operations; shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Communicate effectively within a team.
