Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) in Connecticut is seeking a NOC Technician to join our Network Operations Center. You will monitor networks, respond to alarms, and document and resolve incidents to minimize service impact for customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include 7x24x365 shift support, complex troubleshooting of IP networks, LTE signaling, and coordination with carriers. A technical bachelor’s degree and experience with IP networking and ticketing systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Network Operations Center or similar operational support environment.
• Working knowledge of IP networking and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network surveillance systems and respond to alarms and calls.
• Manage and resolve incident tickets and communicate with customers.
• Troubleshoot SS7, SIP, Diameter signaling platforms, IPX and IP networks.
• Perform fault isolation, root cause analysis and incident management.
• Interface with customers, carriers, and equipment vendors.
• Work a rotating 7x24x365 shift, including nights and holidays.
