Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a NOC Technician to join our Network Operations Center in Kansas. You will monitor networks, respond to alarms, and manage incident tickets while providing direct support to customers and vendors.

The role requires LTE/IP networking knowledge, familiarity with Remedy and Salesforce, and experience in an NOC or similar environment. Shift work, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Network Operations Center or similar operational support environment.
• Knowledge of LTE technologies including Diameter, S8, S6a.
• Strong IP networking troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Remedy and Salesforce ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Splunk and Netreo.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network surveillance systems and respond to alarms, managing a phone queue and incident tickets.
• Provide direct support to customers and vendors to mitigate service impact.
• Troubleshoot SS7, SIP, Diameter, IPX, and IP networks; isolate and resolve complex issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on network elements and interface with carriers.
• Support 7x24x365 operations; shift work including nights, weekends and holidays.
