Mediacom Communications in West Des Moines, IA is hiring a Manager for the Network Operations Center. This role leads people and processes on their shift, coordinates with the third‑shift Sr.

Manager, and ensures events and problems are addressed according to established procedures. You will ensure uptime, timely ticketing, and root‑cause analysis per agreements, while driving tool and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Two plus years practical experience using Remedy or similar ticket systems.
• ITIL 3.0 knowledge and process understanding.
• Two plus years experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Experience with event and problem management tools such as Netcool, SolarWinds or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and written processes to Network Operations.
• Ensure consistent ticket information for outage reporting.
• Manage outage report information reviewed weekly by the business.
• Coordinate with other NOC managers to ensure full service understanding for troubleshooting.
• Ensure root cause analyses are created, reviewed, and distributed as required.
