Job summary

Eastern Communications, Ltd. is seeking a dependable Network Operations Center (NOC) Operator to monitor customer communication systems and coordinate responses for 24/7 support.

This role acts as the first point of contact and works with operators, internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party vendors to maintain service levels. Standard hours are typical business times with willingness to cover nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure continuous network operation and rapid

Qualifications

• Required: Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Required: Ability to coordinate with service-center personnel, vendors, and internal teams.
• Required: Document incidents, actions, and resolutions accurately.
• Required: Take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems and detect anomalies using monitoring tools.
• Log and document incidents with details and resolutions.
• Serve as initial contact for clients reporting network issues.
• Prepare routine reports on incidents, outages, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with technicians and vendors to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot basic problems per SOPs and escalate as needed.
