Job summary

DMI is seeking a NOC Manager to lead the Network Operations Center, coordinating daily workload for NOC engineers and reviewing escalated issues. The role emphasizes client coordination, performance coaching, and adherence to SOP/MOP standards in a remote US setting.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in network operations focusing on fiber, plus 5+ years of supervisory experience and strong communication skills to drive incident response and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Network Operations experience, focusing on fiber network operations.
• 5+ years of Supervisory/Managerial experience.
• Expert understanding of metro fiber service delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with network monitoring systems and ITSM platforms.
• Knowledge of Layer 1/2/3 protocols including DWDM, Sonet/SDH, VLAN, MPLS, OSPF and BGP.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day to day operations to ensure work is completed accurately and closed in a timely manner.
• Main point of contact for all client coordination and relationships.
• Manage and coach the staff of Network Operations Center (NOC) to include performance evaluations.
• Assist in the hiring and training of new personnel.
• Oversee all SOP and MOP documentation, ensuring accuracy and understanding by all NOC Technicians.
• Oversees special projects, as assigned.
• Provide all required reporting to the client per the contract requirements
