Job summary

CVRx, Inc. in New Jersey seeks an expert sales professional with implantable device experience in cardiology to drive territory development and provide hands-on clinical support.

Heart Failure experience is preferred; must reside within reasonable commuting distance of New Jersey to be considered. You will partner with physicians, researchers and hospital staff to present CVRx therapies, negotiate contracts and close sales while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent degree in health sciences, engineering, or business, or a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree
• 7-10+ years of experience in medical device industry sales and business development with implantable medical devices
• Experience with cardiology or cardiovascular health devices, heart failure therapies, or related device sales is preferred
• Ability to master medical and surgical concepts and active implantable device technology
• Knowledge of the cardiology device market and competitive landscape
• Experience working with key healthcare contacts in the territory
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing sales skills
• Willingness to travel up to 75% annually and own a reliable car

Responsibilities

• Develops and drives strategies to meet implant and revenue goals in the territory
• Ensures execution of strategies to deliver on metrics within Territory
• Demonstrates proficiency with Salesforce, dashboards, forecasting, and CVRx applications and can teach others
• Maintains understanding of CVRx technologies and therapies
• Provides implants, follow-up, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to healthcare providers and CVRx staff
• Represents CVRx devices to cardiologists and other specialists
• Provides on-call clinical support and education to physicians and hospital staff
• Gathers customer feedback for R&D and product development ideas
• Adheres to sales processes and maintains devices and programmers in Salesforce
• Other duties as assigned
