Job summary

US Foods, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead a unionized outbound hourly team, ensuring safety, service, and cost goals across receiving, storage, and shipping. You will drive performance through coaching, staffing, and clear direction.

You balance people development with process discipline, uphold food-safety standards, and partner with senior leaders to optimize throughput while maintaining high engagement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to keep injury-free, and coach the team.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and policy training.
• Direct and supervise work flow and productivity within the warehouse.
• Lead hiring and performance reviews for warehouse staff.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for shipping.
• Monitor shift metrics and correct behaviors through coaching.
• Schedule shifts and designate dock locations for inbound/outbound.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment.
