Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager in New Jersey to lead a unionized outbound team with a focus on safety, service, and cost. You will guide coaching, performance reviews and disciplinary actions to maintain a high-performing operation.

Responsibilities include directing order accuracy, coordinating loading, monitoring productivity, and ensuring FIFO compliance. Strong leadership and data interpretation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year overseeing a workforce.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to keep associates injury-free and educate on safety procedures.
• Develop warehouse associates through coaching, policy training and performance plans.
• Direct and supervise work to achieve accurate orders and efficient shipping/receiving.
• Interview and hire warehouse personnel; review performance and address gaps.
• Monitor metrics, mis-picks and productivity; take corrective actions as needed.
• Schedule shifts, designate dock locations and ensure stock meets FIFO standards.
