Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a safety-first operation, ensure accurate receiving, staging, and loading, and drive cost-effective, efficient warehouse performance.

You will supervise a team of associates, hire and develop talent, and align with quality and FSQA standards. The role requires strong leadership and data-driven decision making, focusing on safety, productivity and service.

Qualifications

• Three years in warehouse distribution required.
• At least one year supervising a workforce.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training.
• Direct and supervise work to achieve efficient workflow.
• Participate in hiring and performance reviews.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for shipping.
• Inspect operations and address safety and efficiency issues.
• Schedule shifts and manage FIFO, stock locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and equipment safety.
• Collaborate with management to reduce costs.
