Job summary

US Foods Night Warehouse Manager - SSA oversees a safety-first warehouse culture, ensuring injury-free operations and accurate receiving, storage, and loading. You will lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates, drive efficiency, and coordinate with senior managers to meet service and cost targets.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse distribution and at least 1 year of supervising personnel, with strong leadership, inventory control, and regulatory knowledge (OSHA, HACCP).

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset that ensures that every US Foods associate remains injury free, always.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required.
• Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directing workforce to ensure efficient workflow.
• Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates within the warehouse department.
• Lead and direct associates to achieve accurate orders that are then staged and loaded on the trucks.
• Oversee the preparation of the warehouse for shipping or receiving on the next shift.
• Monitor operational information to ensure the shift meets rates and follows procedures.
• Maintain the physical condition and safety of warehouse and equipment.
