Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a safety‑driven team focused on accurate order fulfillment, efficient receiving and staging, and cost‑effective operations. You’ll supervise shifts, coach associates, and ensure compliance with food safety standards in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires at least three years in warehouse distribution and one year of supervisory experience, with strong leadership and data interpretation skills. A college degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures; OSHA and HACCP familiarity.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to maintain a safety-first culture in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and policy training.
• Direct and supervise work and productivity within the warehouse department; drive engagement and retention.
• Participate in hiring and build high-performing teams with managers; set productivity and safety targets.
• Ensure accurate orders, staging, loading onto trucks, and prep for shipping/receiving on shift.
• Monitor performance metrics and pursue corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce mis-picks.
