Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 0-2 years of experience with a TMC type facility and/or traffic management.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Computer/Software – MS Office applications, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ITS devices and take action per SOPs.
• Manage traffic incidents.
• Coordinate responses for roadway concerns.
• Log incidents and call logs in the database.
• Assist data collection for system performance and troubleshooting.
• Identify and document device failures with TDOT; issue repair work orders.
• Receive roadwork notices and coordinate department responses.
• Answer inquiries about TMC/ITS operations and provide data.
