Job summary

WSP is seeking a Traffic Management Center Technician I to support our Nashville, TN office. The role involves night and weekend shifts, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

You will monitor ITS devices, manage incidents, and coordinate responses with TDOT and other partners. Responsibilities include data entry, troubleshooting device issues, and providing information on roadway conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication.
• Analytical and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work with TDOT staff and other partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate ITS devices and traffic control devices per SOPs.
• Handle traffic incident management and coordinate responses for roadway concerns.
• Enter data for incidents, events, and calls into the system.
• Assist in data collection for system performance and troubleshooting.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document device failures; issue work orders for repairs.
• Respond to notices of roadwork or incidents and communicate with operational partners.
• Answer inquiries and provide roadway condition information as directed by the State.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and safety policies.
