Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Intensive Care Unit-I at Jersey City Medical Center. The role requires a NJ RN license, BLS, and provides a full-time night schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with every other weekend.

Strong EMR experience, preferably EPIC, is valued for quality care and documentation. You will assess patients, administer medications, coordinate with the care team, educate families, and contribute to a safety-focused, collaborative

Qualifications

Active New Jersey RN license in good standing or multi-state license with NJ endorsement.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred; EMR experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes early.
Administer medications and provide hands-on care with strong clinical judgment.
Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely, coordinated care decisions.
Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and preparedness.
Document accurately in the EMR to maintain continuity and safety.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote clear communication.
Work in a highly collaborative team and support ongoing professional growth.
