RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a part-time Night shift RN for Jersey City Medical Center. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, medications, care coordination with physicians, and patient education. Strong documentation in EPIC EMR is required.

Active NJ RN license or multistate with NJ endorsement plus BLS is essential. A BSN is strongly preferred. The position supports professional growth within a collaborative, safety-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN with NJ endorsement.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred; (EMR experience) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients comprehensively and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care.
• Coordinate with physicians and providers for timely decisions.
• Educate patients and families for next steps in care.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and ensure smooth transitions of care.
