Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Intensive Care- III unit. This full-time night shift role offers hourly pay between $47.62 and $63.73 and requires NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and a strong background in medical-surgical or telemetry care.

As part of a collaborative team, you will assess patients, administer medications, document in EPIC, participate in rounds, educate families, and pursue ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement in good standing and current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire; BSN strongly preferred; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes, intervening early.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Act as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
• Educate patients and families to facilitate informed decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity of care.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and collaborative care planning.
• Support a team environment with shared accountability and ongoing professional growth.
