Job summary

Located in Belleville, Clara Maass Medical Center is a RWJBarnabas Health facility seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit-I. This full-time night shift offers teamwork, clinical excellence, and growth opportunities in a high-acuity environment.

The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, document in the EMR, and collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement in good standing.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire; BLS certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes; intervene and advocate for patients.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to support timely, coordinated care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly to support informed care decisions.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure continuity and safety.
