Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse - Graduate Nurse for the Center Valley location in Pennsylvania. This full-time night-shift role (7:00pm–7:30am) includes weekend as assigned and responsibilities for nursing care under supervision.

The graduate nurse will complete the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• The graduate nurse must register and complete the state board examination within 90 days from start date.
• Current PA temporary practice permit required; BLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider, required.
• New graduate program; Previous health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and intermultidisciplinary team members.
• Graduate nurse who holds a PA temporary permit must practice under the supervision of an experienced RN who is present in the unit or area where the graduate nurse is practicing.
