Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation seeks a Graduate Nurse to join our Pennsylvania patient care teams. Under supervision, you will apply the nursing process, deliver compassionate care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and an intermultidisciplinary team.

As a new graduate, you will participate in our transition program, meet state requirements, and develop through mentorship, evidence-based practice, and ongoing clinical learning in a busy inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Education to become a registered nurse with required licensing.
• New graduate program participation expected.
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care requirements and develop a care plan within 24 hours of admission.
• Establish a compassionate environment and support patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications and self-care.
• Document delivery of services and patient progress in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
