Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Center Valley, PA seeks a Registered Nurse – Graduate Nurse to join the inpatient rehab hospital on the night shift. Under supervision, the graduate nurse will perform nursing duties, assess patients, implement care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support recovery after injury or illness.

The program emphasizes patient education, safety, and compassionate care, with emphasis on learning the PA requirements and completing state licensure

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse must register and complete the state board examination within 90 days from start date
• New graduate program
• Previous health care experience preferred
• Current PA temporary practice permit required
• Basic Life Support / CPR required

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provides physical and psychological support to patients, families and friends
• Care planning and teaching within 24 hours of admission
• Documenting patient progress and plans in the medical record

Education

Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
