Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse - Graduate Nurse for the LTACH, night shift, 36+ hours per week. The graduate nurse must practice under supervision of an experienced RN and complete the PA temporary practice permit requirements.

The role focuses on performing nursing processes, collaborating with an interprofessional team, and supporting patients, families, and friends through education and compassionate care, while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current PA temporary practice permit required.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
• Graduate nurse must be supervised by an experienced PA-licensed RN.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care requirements and contribute to a plan of care within 24 hours of admission.
• Collaborate with physicians and an intermultidisciplinary team to deliver nursing care and education to patients and families.
• Document delivery of services and patient progress in the medical record.
• Maintain a safe, confidential, and infection-controlled environment.
• Contribute to performance improvement activities and coordinate with nursing staff and other team members.
