Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network in Center Valley, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rehab Hospital to deliver comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

You will promote patient health by applying the nursing process, educating patients and families, and ensuring quality, safe care in a 76-bed inpatient setting. Night shift with weekend as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Prior med-surg experience or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support / CPR required.
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing preferred (within 3 years of employment).

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process.
• Collaborates with physicians and intermultidisciplinary team members.
• Delegates and evaluates care assigned to LPNs and CNAs.
• Educates patients and families about condition and self-care.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and safety.
