Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network seeks a Registered Nurse - Graduate Nurse for LTACH. The role supports patients through the nursing process, working with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. A graduate nurse with a PA temporary permit must be supervised by an experienced RN in Pennsylvania.

The position is full-time, night shift (12 hours, 7:00pm–7:30am) with weekend requirements as assigned and EO/HE. Training and orientation support are provided for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• The graduate nurse must register and complete the state board examination within 90 days from start date.
• Current PA temporary practice permit required.
• Basic Life Support / CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care requirements and plan care within 24 hours of admission.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Document delivery of services and patient progress in the medical record.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and confidential environment.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
