Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nurse RN to serve as Patient Flow Coordinator in the Emergency Department, night shift (7 pm–7 am), full-time with weekend differential. The role emphasizes coordinating patient flow, leading ED staff, and ensuring patient safety and throughput in a fast-paced environment.

Required education includes an Associate's degree in nursing; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. BLS, ACLS, and RN licensure are mandatory, with trauma nurse course preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork required.
• RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• ED experience preferred; charge nurse a plus.
• Ability to perform vital signs using manual methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care respects patient rights and preferences.
