Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to coordinate patient flow during the night shift (7 pm–7 am). The role focuses on maximizing throughput, safety, and patient experience in a high‑volume ED setting in Georgia.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) and BLS/ACLS certifications. Strong communication and team leadership are essential to coordinate care across ED staff and related departments.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification through AHA is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensure care is delivered with respect to patient rights, preferences and expectations.
• Provide staff performance feedback to ED leadership related to patient flow, safety, and professional standards.
• Maintain oversight of ED patient flow through rounding and monitoring the triage area, waiting rooms, and rooms.
• Coordinate patient placement and throughput between Bed Management, ED providers, nursing, and ancillary teams to ensure timely care.
• Lead and organize staff engagement to achieve department outcomes and assist with policy and process improvements.
