Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nurse to serve as a Patient Flow Coordinator in the Emergency Department. This full-time night-shift role (7 pm – 7 am) involves leading patient placement, coordinating care teams, and ensuring efficient throughput while upholding patient rights.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license with required certifications and ED experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as is proficiency with desktop systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.
• BLS certification, RN license, ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care respects patient rights, preferences and expectations.
• Participate in policy and process formulation impacting patient flow goals.
• Provide staff performance feedback to ED leadership related to patient flow and safety.
