Wellstar Health System is seeking a Patient Flow Coordinator (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time night shift (7 pm–7 am) position focuses on coordinating patient throughput and ensuring efficient patient placement across ED operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• RN license required.
• ACLS certification.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care respects patient rights, preferences and expectations.
• Participate in policy and process formulation related to patient flow goals.
• Provide staff performance feedback to ED leadership regarding patient flow and safety.
• Routinely round in triage, waiting rooms and patient rooms to oversee patient flow.
• Serve as liaison between Bed Management, ED providers, nursing, and other departments for timely placement.
