Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Superintendent to coordinate production activities and direct multiple departments to deliver safe, on‑time products within budget and quality standards. You will lead supervisors, reinforce safety and lean practices, and drive continuous improvement across shifts and functions.

You will develop leadership, mentor frontline leaders, and ensure adherence to standard work and performance metrics while supporting scheduling, training, and employee development efforts.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' related experience leading production teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams and foster engagement.
• Strong safety culture understanding with the ability to drive safety performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to analyze data and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and promote a proactive safety culture across operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors to improve leadership and performance.
• Establish expectations for safety, quality, productivity, cost, and engagement.
• Manage labor staffing plans and coordinate start-ups for subsequent shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean practices, and RCCA actions.
• Coordinate with managers to resolve safety, quality, and scheduling concerns.
