Job summary

Great Dane seeks a Production Supervisor to direct and manage trailer production activities across multiple lines, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and safety standards. You will lead a team, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and drive Lean manufacturing practices to meet the production schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to read blueprints, and hands-on supervision of shifts, with responsibilities including staffing, training, and performance

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Team Leader experience and/or college degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage trailer production activities to meet schedule and drawings.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
• Plan staffing for the week and prepare lines for next shift.
• Oversee timecards, vacations, and attendance for direct reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors, ME/maintenance and engineering to resolve issues.
