Job summary

Great Dane LLC in Arkansas is seeking a seasoned Production Superintendent to coordinate multiple shifts, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while optimizing costs.

You will lead Production Supervisors, drive lean initiatives, and develop teams through mentoring, performance feedback, and training. This role demands strong leadership and the ability to manage manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams toward operational goals.
• Experience coaching frontline leaders and managing performance.
• Strong safety-focused mindset with ability to drive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct production activities across shifts to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Production Supervisors.
• Set clear expectations for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost Management.
• Lead employee relations, engagement, and performance management processes.
• Conduct leadership meetings, handoffs, and development discussions with supervisors.
• Drive continuous improvement, RCCA actions, and standard work compliance.
• Support scheduling and production engineering reviews to minimize disruptions.
