Job summary

Great Dane LLC seeks a Production Supervisor to direct trailer production activities and ensure alignment with engineering drawings. You will lead a team in axle, line, and sidewall processes, driving safety, quality, and production rhythm.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, safety governance, and collaboration with ME/Engineering to address build issues while maintaining schedule. The role emphasizes Lean practices and adherence to 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Team Leader Academy graduate or college degree or college degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications.
• Ability to operate computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage trailer production activities in designated area to meet the production schedule.
• Ensure safety, quality, and lean manufacturing standards are maintained.
• Plan staffing, start shifts, manage rework and scrap, implement 5S and standard work.
• Supervise and develop staff, handle interviews, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with Supervisors, ME, Eng, and Production Manager to resolve issues and meet schedule.
