Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, manage the Nights - D Shift, and ensure safe, efficient production across the Top Cap Team. The role requires hands-on leadership, lean principles, and cross-functional coordination.

You will drive KPI performance, supervise a high-volume operation, and support multiple engineering projects while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical School degree and 2–5 years supervisory experience in high-speed automated manufacturing preferred.
• Lean and 5S experience beneficial.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• MS Office including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise employees in the Panasonic production process.
• Manage safety, quality, and production KPIs.
• Plan production schedules; coordinate with other supervisors.
• Lead Kaizen events to improve machine and process conditions.
• Support Battery Engineering, Production Engineering, and Quality Control projects.
• Maintain end-of-shift reports, headcount, and root-cause analyses.
