Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Technician I for night shifts at the Sparks, NV facility. The role leads maintenance teams, ensures timely repair and preventative maintenance, and drives improvements to uptime, throughput, and quality.

The position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with preventative maintenance and blueprints, and the ability to work weekends/overtime as needed. Proficiency with Workday and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience performing preventative maintenance
• Experience reading blueprints
• Availability to work weekends and/or overtime as needed
• Effective communication and professional interaction at all levels

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and lead maintenance teams on shift for planned and emergency work
• Assess hourly personnel training needs and develop skills
• Monitor uptime, through-put and product quality impacts
• Update Workday and maintenance systems daily for the shift
• Lead ongoing troubleshooting with maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly
• Oversee shift plan execution for PM, training, and capital projects
