Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-discipline maintenance team on the B shift at our Sparks, NV facility. You will coordinate schedules, assign work, and drive safety, quality and cost initiatives while ensuring reliable equipment and smooth production.

You will develop the team, conduct performance reviews, and promote continuous improvement through lean practices and standard work. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing/operations experience and direct people management
• Experience performing preventative maintenance
• Experience reading blueprints
• Experience with CAD
• Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement mindset
• Self-starter with ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Must read, write and speak English at working level

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and direct maintenance team to achieve starts and transfers
• Hire, train, develop, engage and drive accountability while improving safety and lean practices
• Ensure maintenance staff are trained and certified for tasks
• Maintain manufacturing floor presence to address bottlenecks
• Supervise multiple shifts and promote teamwork and accountability
• Conduct annual performance reviews and development plans
• Monitor safety rules and 6S standards and ensure compliance
