Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding operations to De Soto, Kansas, hiring a Production Manager to lead multiple production lines in a high-volume, 24/7 environment. You’ll drive safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance while directing cross-functional teams to achieve strategic manufacturing goals.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, 6S, continuous improvement, and strong data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership in a high-volume, 24/7 environment.
• Proven success owning safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
• Strong data-driven decision making and financial acumen.
• Working knowledge of Lean, 6S, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, FactoryTalk).
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing performance across assigned lines ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Lead and develop Production Supervisors for effective daily execution of plans.
• Ensure capacity planning, labor optimization, and resource allocation align with demand.
• Drive standardized work, procedures, and operational controls.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and EHS for alignment.
