Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) seeks a Technician I for the Nights, B-Shift (7PM-7AM) at the Nevada/Reno area Gigafactory. You will maintain production machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and assist operators with cleaning, repairs, and adjustments to keep lines running efficiently.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, basic English proficiency, and experience with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Must have working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check machine settings, gauge readings and sensors to keep equipment within specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and simple maintenance tasks.
• Tighten bolts, inspect belts and chains for wear, and lubricate machinery as required.
• Maintain records of work performed and assist with machine modifications to improve efficiency.
