Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities in a high-speed environment. You will schedule production, manage materials and personnel, and ensure quality at minimum cost.

The role requires strong leadership, Lean/5S experience, and proficiency with MS Office, SAP/MES/Oracle, plus effective communication in English. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Two to five years of supervisory experience in a high-speed, automated manufacturing environment.
• Lean and 5S experience is highly beneficial.
• Must be a good communicator with strong problem-solving and people skills.
• Working-level English: reading, writing and speaking.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise employees in the Panasonic production process.
• Meet KPI targets for safety, production, quality and manpower.
• Create end-of-shift reports and root cause analyses.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and escalate incidents as needed.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and cross-functional teams.
• Lead Kaizen events to improve machine/production conditions.
• Participate in Battery, Production and Quality Control projects.
