Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification through ASCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient using two identifiers.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Record patient data and insurance information in the HIS.
• Prepare and transport specimens to the laboratory.
• Perform EKGs with GE carts and the MUSE software.
