Job summary

Responsibilities

• Procure blood specimens from patients for laboratory procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture with standard equipment.
• Perform EKGs using GE carts and MUSE software.
• Register patients and verify insurance for outpatients in the HIS.
• Transport specimens to the laboratory with care and efficiency.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist staff as needed.
