The role includes scheduling, registration, benefit verification, pre-certification and financial clearance, plus communicating patient financial responsibility and payment options with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical experience and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.
• High School diploma required; some college helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments, registrations, and ensure accurate patient data.
• Perform benefit verification, pre-certification, and financial clearance.
• Explain patient financial responsibility and available payment options to patients.
