Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time nursing assistant for the Telemetry unit at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. You will support RNs with daily patient care, monitor vitals, and help with rounds, admissions, and discharge processes.

Shift is nights, with rotating weekends and holidays. The role requires a GED or HS diploma, BLS certification within 45 days, and Nurse Aide in good standing on the state registry.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing per state registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and input data into EMR as required.
• Perform purposeful rounds and communicate observations to RN promptly.
• Assist in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Handle errands and stock nursing area; clean equipment and work areas.
• Support patient positioning, nutrition needs, and skin care.
